No! I've been taking care of my mother for 19 years, and has never had time out, noone to help me at all, my mother had six kids. I'm the youngest of them all, the others don't call her or come by to see her at all.
I asked them how much they will charge me to come pick her up from time to time, maybe out to eat or to church with them. but no one ever came.
I dont want to ever have to put my mother in a home, but now this is getting the best of me trying to do it all by myself.

Spent a few days in CA with family. Of course this was possible because a sibling from out of town was "on watch" while I was away. A nice sense of relief.

WHAT IS THAT? I FORGOT HOW TO TAKE TIME OUT FOR MYSELF. I AM 46, AND I AM THE CAREGIVER OF MY 43 YEAR OLD HANDICAP SISTER. MY PARENTS ARE DECEASED. WHEN I GO, SHE GOES. I' NOT COMPLAINING; BECAUSE I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN FAMILY ORIENTED. PRAY FOR ME THAT I WILL NOT FEEL GUILTY WHEN I GO TO DO THE LITTLEST THING FOR MYSELF
