Caregiver Respite Tips Responses

I have cared for my mother and father every day
for the last three years. Last summer, my
husband made me my space! Its a space under my deck!
I have a small table and chairs, flowers,
birdhouses—just filled with things I love. Nothing
fancy--just a great space for me. After spending a
long day with them, I enjoy the evening hours to be
alone in my space. I am very gratful to my husband
for creating this for me. It is great.

I never used to be the type of reader who went
for the "beach read." I was drawn to more
serious, intelligent fare.
However, now that life is serious, I love keeping
some light reading on my Kindle. Gossipy
memoirs, breezy romances...bring it on. I love
the mental vacation from disease and responsibility,
no matter how brief.
